Gwyneth Paltrow Is Not Ready For Music Yet

Gwyneth Paltrow has dismissed recent rumours that suggested she had signed a record deal with Atlantic Records to release an album.

The actress told The Hollywood Reporter:

"The truth is, I really would love to make a record, but I don't know exactly how you do that so it's not cheesy. I would love to do it. I am having fun with it though, even if it's kind of giving me a mid-life crisis because I don't know who I am anymore."

Paltrow has tapped into her musical side recently receiving high praise for her movie Country Strong and her guest appearances on Glee.

Moreover, it has been confirmed that she will record a duet with Glee´s Matthew Morrison for his upcoming debut album.

It is expected for Paltrow to return to Glee in the future, which is something she looks forward to:

"I'm definitely done for this year but, to be honest, I think it's the best job I've ever had. I'm sure I'll go back there at some point."

Do you believe Gwyneth Paltrow has the potential to become a recording artist?

Best Grammy Awards Performances

Once again, the 2011 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center left us with some of the best performances of todays most successful artists in the music industry. Radio Pop Action! has collected some of the most memorable ones in this post:

Among the best performances this year, the most theatrical one goes to Lady Gaga´s Born This Way with the singer being reborn out of a giant alien-like egg.

Bruno Mars proved to us once again that he is capable of doing absolutely anything musically by transforming his number one hit song, Grenade, into a 50´s pop tune or playing drums for fellow artist Janelle Monae.

Cee Lo Green stole the show with his performance of Forget You which featured the muppets as background singers and a duet with none other than Academy Award winner Gwyneth Paltrow.

Rapper Eminem and Rihanna teamed up once again to perform their smash hit Love The Way You Lie Part 2, joined by Dr Dre on stage and Maroon 5´s Adam Levine on the keys.

Perhaps the most emotional moment of the awards show was Aretha Franklin´s all star tribute featuring Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera, Yolanda Adams, Florence Welch, Yolanda Adams & Martina Mcbride.

More music in Gwyneth Paltrow's future

After her recently successful musical ventures on her latest movie Country Strong and her guest spot on Glee, actress Gwyneth Paltrow has hinted her desire to pursue more musical projects in the future.

"I think there definitely will be singing in my future," she said. "I know that I won't stop singing and playing guitar."

She explained: "It may just be to my kids in the house. I may make a record. I may do a musical. I'm not sure, but I'm just very grateful I'm in a place now where I've been given an opportunity to discover this whole new side to myself."

And it seems we won't have to wait too long to listen to her voice again, as singer Cee Lo Green has recently confirmed rumours of a collaboration between the two. The pair have recently re-recorded a new version of Cee Lo's hit  F**ck You at MSR studios in New York over the weekend and  finalised work on the track on Monday.

Paltrow will also return to Glee for the Super Bowl episode after her appearance was a big hit with fans and in the ratings last year.

Are you looking forward to Gwyneth's music?
